The Space Voyagers - The Armada
Story synopsis;
Date October 14th 2163. The task force is approaching the Deneb Star System 2.3 light years ahead. The Science Officer has not detected the artificial signal reported by the Copernicus. They are proceeding to their last known position. The task force is at battle stations in preparation for an encounter with hostile forces. If this is the Sharharians Captain Hunt plans to have the advantage this time.
As they enter the system and deploy fighters to act as combat patrol they discover the a fleet of ships in orbit around a gas giant in the system. The mystery deepens as they appear to be operational but devoid of a crew. The Captain leaves behind his Chief Engineer and an engineering team to investigate along with a squad of marines. The rest of the task force proceed into the system and find the hulk of the Copernicus. It's been torn a part. As they investigate they discover a horrible prospect of the Aurora drive falling into alien hands. At the same moment they deploy a recon team to the surface of Deneb two to investigate life forms detected there. Back on the alien ship the CHENG and his team begin to unravel the mystery of The Armada.
